  • As of October 31, 2014,Tulare County's Environmental Health has approved over 1,582 drilling permits for wells (increase of 45 from previous report)
  • Since September 1, 2014 - October 31, 2014, Proteus has issued 434 Rental Assistance Services (increase of 45 from previous report) and 170 Utility Payment Services (increase of 12 from previous report) due to the effects of drought
  • The Workforce Investment Board reports that 264 employees have been laid off or have had their work hours reduced due to drought since March, 2014 (increase of 10 from previous report)
