The Fire & Life Safety Division supports and coordinates all public fire services agencies in the Tulare County, with an emphasis on special fire districts.  Activities include but are not necessarily limited to plan review, plan and conduct Annual Fire & life Safety inspections of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities to assess conformity with state and local fire safety codes and related ordinances, inspect fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire hydrant systems, pumping systems and water storage facilities, research fire prevention / protection standards and codes, and provide technical assistance to the public and fire company personnel.
