Tulare County is a wildfire prone region with existing multi-jurisdictional fire mitigation groups who have an enormous challenge of helping our communities become wildfire adapted and wildfire aware. The Forest Health Task Force seeks to build capacity by collaborating to diversify and stretch resources; and mend fragmented communication by creating a unified message across the region for fire adapted communities.
