The project will address hazardous fuels along 10.27 project miles, targeting areas with near 100% mortality. It is estimated that 7,948 tons of non-merchantable material will be removed from 460 acres.

Funded by Sierra Nevada Conservancy under the Regional Forest and Fire Capacity Grant

The project will include project design, timber cruise, and unit layout of 981 acres; and a tree stand exam.

Grant Funded $251,286 + 10% Indirect Costs.

The project involves the removal of dead trees affected by the SQF Complex Fire. Tree clearing and removal will be limited to the right-of-way along county-maintained roads.
