  • Reference assistance -  Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist with locating materials and navigating through print and electronic resources that may answer your research questions and address legal issues. Telephone and email reference is limited to short sections of cases, statutes or secondary sources when a specific cite is given by the caller. However, librarians are not attorneys and CANNOT ADVISE you on your legal matter.
  • Internet computer workstations - Available in Visalia and Porterville for you to work on your legal matters. We provide free online access to legal databases including California appellate cases, codes, regulations, and attorney general opinions, U.S. codes, Rutter Group titles, Witkin libraries, Nolo books, and more. Printouts are 25¢ per page.
  • Free WiFi - Access the Internet on your wireless device. Obtain password in Visalia from the Information desk. Limited electrical outlets, please bring a fully charged device. Printing is not available on wi-fi.
  • Photocopiers - Self-help copiers for letter & legal size paper at 20-25¢ each side copied, coins and one dollar bills accepted. Credit, debit, and copy cards are accepted in Visalia only.
  • Word processing and spreadsheet programs.

  • Used books - Selected books withdrawn from the library collection in Visalia are available to the general public for a suggested donation of $1 each or as marked, on an as-is and first-come basis.
  • Interlibrary loans - Library staff may borrow or retrieve photocopied material from another library.
  • Kenneth E. Conn Conference Room - Conference room for court-related activities and attorney-client meetings may be reserved for a fee.
