The Administrative Services Division provides a full spectrum of services to the operational division, as well as the implementation of policy and procedure. Additional services include fiscal management, external audits, internal operation studies, and information technology.
Professional Standards Unit – The Human Resources Division is responsible for the hiring process, including written testing, interviews, comprehensive background investigation, Computerized Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA), and other examinations pursuant to state guidelines for Peace Officers.
Quality Improvement Unit – This unit is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of department operations, program effectiveness, and service delivery. The staff will make recommendations to align with evidence-based practices as required by state and federal guidelines.
