This memo provides clarification of the operations proposed by the Visalia Disposal (Landfill) Site Compost and Biomass Conversion Facility - Landfilling Operations Project, SCH No. 2021020054

This NOP has a 30-day comment period beginning June 14, 2023 and ending July 14, 2023.

The Notice of Preparation for the Focused Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the Visalia Disposal (Landfill) Site Compost and Biomass Conversion - Landfilling Operations Project was published in the Sun-Gazette on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

This document contains the Draft EIR, Final EIR, and other documents prepared for the Visalia Landfill Master Development Plan in 2000/2001.

This Project is scheduled to go before the Tulare County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. 

This Draft EIR has been updated to include the revisions identified in the Errata and Clarifications chapter of the Final EIR.

This notice was published in the Sun-Gazette on January 12, 2022, and extends the public review comment period to Friday, January 28, 2022.

The commenting period for the DEIR for this Project has been extended to end on Friday, January 21, 2022. This notice appeared in the Sun-Gazette on December 15, 2021.

12/3/21 - This EIR has a 45-day review period beginning December 3, 2021 and ending on January 17, 2022.

12/7/21 - The public review period for this EIR has been extended to Friday, January 21, 2022.

1/12/22 - The public review period for this EIR has been extended to Friday, January 28, 2022.
