(2) Unknown males in their earlier Twenties
On 11-30-15 at approx. 1200 hrs., Deputies assigned to the Orosi Substation were dispatched to the area of Ave. 424 and Rd. 100 regarding shots traffic. Upon arrival they contacted the (V) an adult male, who provided the following information. The (V) stated he was traveling Westbound on Ave. 424 from Rd. 100 when two vehicles appeared to be chasing each other. The (V) stated the lead vehicle described as a light colored sedan was traveling in front of him and an older model dark colored pick-up was behind him. The front passenger in the lead vehicle began shooting at his direction and appeared to be trying to shoot the small pick-up behind him. The (V) veered off the roadway to avoid being shot at and both vehicles continued westbound.
Detectives with the Gang Violence Suppression Unit assumed the case and are following up on leads. The (V) did not report any injuries and no one was struck by the gunshots. No further information is available at this time.
