UPDATE: The classification of this crime has been changed to Burglary and Criminal threats. The below listed circumstances remain the same. 

On Thursday 6-25-2015 at approximately 1400 hours Deputies were called to a residence in the 30000 block of Hawthorne in the Ivanhoe area regarding a subject attempting to gain entry into an occupied residence.  Upon arrival the Deputies the victim who advised them he was inside the residence when a subject forcibly entered and threatened to shoot him.  The victim stated the suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction on Hawthorne.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult between 25-30 years of age wearing a white tee shirt and blue shorts.  The suspect was described as being skinny (approximately 150 pounds) 5’6” to 5’8” with short black hair in a fade cut.

Deputies processed the residence for evidence and were able to gather several items of evidentiary value.
