07/27/15 / Approx. 0830 Hours:

Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 42900 Block of Road 114 regarding a residential burglary. The victim reported various agriculture tools / equipment missing from a detached garage on the property. The victim estimated the primary loss of tools / equipment to be approximately $3,500.00. 

Deputies later contacted Nathaniel Stanhope who is a prior employee of the victim and resides on the property. After further investigation Stanhope admitted his involvement in the previously mentioned burglary. During the investigation Stanhope was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm, and approximately 69 grams methamphetamine, .21 grams of Heroin, and processed marijuana. It was learned Stanhope is a previously convicted felon and charged with felon in possession of a firearm, as well as felon in possession of .380 caliber ammunition. Stanhope was taken into custody and booked at the Pre-Trial Facility.
