On Friday, 11/07/14, Deputies responded to a walnut orchard in the area of Road 124 and Avenue 336.  Deputies contacted the victim who advised his employee witnessed the suspects leaving the area in a pickup.  The employee was able to retrieve the license plate from the vehicle.  


Through investigation deputies contacted the owner of the vehicle.  Deputies discovered the suspect was, Arturo Jimenez, and were led to his residence on the 1500 block of North Turner Street in Visalia.  Deputies located 600-700 Lbs. of walnuts inside Arturo’s residence, however, Arturo was not home at the time.  The walnuts were returned to the victim.  The estimated value of the returned walnuts was $2,000.00.  


On Saturday, 11/08/14, the Deputies responded back Arturo’s residence.  Arturo attempted to flee out the back of the residence, but was apprehended.  


Arturo was booked at Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility for PC 487(b) and PC 148(a)(1)
