After an investigation into the sales of illegal narcotics in the Ivanhoe and Lindsay area, Investigators from The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Division, Visalia and Porterville Police Departments and Central Valley Marijuana Investigation Team (CVMIT) &  South Valley Hidta served 2 search warrants in the 15970 Block of Ave 327 of Ivanhoe and an additional search warrant in the 21100 block of Ave 245 in Lindsay.  

 As a result of the search warrants and investigation, Approximately thirteen pounds (13) of Methamphetamine with a street value of $590,200.00, was recovered and seized.

 

 Three people were taken into custody during this investigation on the below listed charges.

 

 Taken into custody were:

 

1) Andres Mederos Cardenas  31Yrs.          Ivanhoe  resident                Date of arrest: 02-11-15

Charges: 11377/11378/ 11379/11366 H&S  possession of a controlled substance for sales/maintaining a place for the sales of narcotics

 2) Jose Hernandez      46 Yrs.                       Ivanhoe  resident                Date of arrest: 02-11-15

 

Charges: 11377/11378/ 11379/11366 H&S  possession of a controlled substance for sales/maintaining a place for the sales of narcotics

 3) Robert Mercado 24 Yrs.            Lindsay resident                                  Date of arrest: 02-11-15

Charges: Outstanding Warrants/  Bail $25,000.
