UPDATE: The town council meeting in Earlimart has been pushed back a week to Nov. 12.

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux will speak and the public is invited to attend upcoming town council meetings in Pixley, Tipton and Earlimart. A Spanish translator will be available at all three meetings beginning Oct. 26 in Pixley, Nov. 2 in Tipton and Nov. 12 in Earlimart.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and voice concerns.

"I want you to know we are using all resources to make your communities safe," he said.

Each meeting opens with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the minutes from the previous meeting and new business. Boudreaux will speak after that, about 15 minutes into the meetings.

Town Councils are ad hoc groups that provide community input from unincorporated towns to county government including the Tulare County Sheriff's Office.

"Town councils are the eyes and the ears of our communities and the Sheriff's Office is listening," he said.
