TCSO Human Trafficking Detail Nets Six Arrests

During a weekend-long human trafficking detail in the Visalia area, Detectives in the Tulare County Sheriff’s Human Trafficking Unit rescued three women who were victims of human trafficking; arrested one man for soliciting a juvenile for sex, a felony; and arrested five men for soliciting prostitution.

Oscar Sanchez Ramos, 23, of Tulare was arrested for soliciting a juvenile for sex.

The following men were arrested for soliciting prostitution:

Jose Salas Ochoa, 49, of Dinuba

Enrique Alvarez Rios, 34, of Fresno

Rene Garcia-Contreras, 44, of Orosi

Oscar Juan Ferrer, 20, of Hanford

Gerardo Guzman-Castellon, 20, of Visalia

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux and the men and women of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office are actively involved in the prevention of human trafficking, the recovery of victims and arresting those who solicit children and adults for sex. No human being should be bought or sold. We will continue to conduct these types of operations in the future for the safety and security of the people in Tulare County.
