Welcome to the Public Law Library!

Free use of the collection to all who enter the Law Library

The Tulare County Public Law Library is open to the public and serving the legal information needs of Tulare County residents since 1891 (129 years!). The library provides free access to legal material and focuses on core California and specific areas of law.  Resources are in print or electronic format and research staff can help you find answers to your legal questions.

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

We are CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC inside the Law Library until Nov. 2 due to COVID-19 state and local health orders.

Staff can still help by phone or email!  We can email you documents from Westlaw, Lexis, CEB OnLaw, NCLC, and from print material in the library.

From home! You can use these links to sign-up for free access to online databases from Westlaw Patron Access, Lexis Patron Access, EBSCO/NOLO books, or to use the Ask A Law Librarian live chat service.
