Updated March 13, 2020 Our 2020 internet auction is complete. We will not be having a reoffer auction in May 2020.
On November 19, 2019, the Board of Supervisors of Tulare County directed the Tax Collector to conduct an internet auction for the sale of tax-defaulted property. The parcels recorded on the Delinquent Parcel List are subject to the tax collector’s power of sale pursuant to California Revenue and Taxation Code, §3691 and have been approved for sale by Resolution 2019-0959.
The sale will be conducted online at 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday, the 3rd day of March 2020, at www.bid4assets.com. Registration will require a minimum refundable deposit of $5,000.00 in guaranteed funds (cash, United States postal money order, or bank issued cashier’s check) in lawful money of the United States. If you are not a winning bidder your deposit will be refunded to you from Bid4Assets. Parcels will be sold to the highest bidder for guaranteed funds: (cash, United States postal money order, or bank issued cashier’s check) in lawful money of the United States for not less than the minimum bid listed in this notice. If a parcel does not sell, it will be re-offered on May 26-27, 2020. The property owner’s right of redemption will cease on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. and properties not redeemed by that time will be offered for sale. If a parcel is not sold at auction, the property owner’s right of redemption will revive up to the date of the next scheduled auction. If properties are sold for an amount exceeding the minimum bid, parties of interest as defined by Revenue and Taxation Code, §4675 will be notified of their right to claim excess proceeds.
