The Tulare County Library is gearing up to celebrate National Library Week, from April 7-13, 2024. So let’s get "Ready, Set, Library," to explore the wealth of resources and services available at your local library.

Celebrated annually since 1958, National Library Week highlights the importance of libraries’ role in transforming lives and communities. Throughout its history, National Library Week is a time to celebrate amazing libraries, librarians, and library staff and promote library use and support.

Libraries give us a green light to experience a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and pursue our passions through book clubs, story times, movie nights, crafting, talks, and more. The Tulare County Library offers a wide array of programs, events, and resources for every age.

No matter where you find yourself on the road through life’s journey—preparing for a new career, launching a business, raising a family, or settling into retirement—the Library offers the help you need as part of an inclusive and supportive space where everyone feels welcome.

This year, the Library embraces the spirit of National Library Week by encouraging everyone to visit their local library to discover the multitude of services offered. From books to eBooks, from computer access to free Wi-Fi, libraries serve as invaluable hubs for information and connectivity. In addition, libraries as vibrant community centers provide opportunities where people come together to learn, engage, and grow.
