Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Bar Fight, Suspect on the Run

 Suspect In Antlers Bar Stabbing Turns Himself In To Deputies
 
On January 2,2020, John Handford turned himself in to Deputies at the Sheriff’s Porterville Sub Station.
 
Handford was wanted for stabbing a man multiple times in the parking lot of Antlers Bar in Springville on December 29, 2019.
 
Handford was arrested and booked at the South County Detention Facility for the charges of attempted homicide with a bail of $1,000,000.

 

Just after 1 a.m. on 12/29/19, TCSO Deputies were called to the Antlers Bar in the 30900 block of Hwy 190 in Springville for a stabbing.  

When they arrived, Deputies found the victim in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds. He was life-flighted to an area hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

Deputies learned the victim and the suspect, 49-year-old John Handford, were fighting when Hanford pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. Handford then ran from the scene and is still on the loose. He faces charges of Attempted Murder.
