This afternoon, TCSO Deputies were called to the 40000 block of George Road in Cutler for an animal abuse case.
When they arrived, witnesses told Deputies that they saw 25-year-old Joshua Moody of Cutler beat a small dog to death. Moody ran away before Deputies got there.
Tonight, Deputies received a tip that Moody had returned to the home where the incident took place. When Deputies arrived, Moody, again, tried to run off, but was arrested after a chase.
Moody has been booked at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Pre-Trial Facility on charges of Cruelty to an Animal Resulting in Death and Resisting Arrest.
