TCSO Detectives, Officers Arrest 17 During Domestic Violence Operation
On 10/26/23, TCSO Detectives and 27 local law enforcement officers attempted to serve more than 150 arrest warrants throughout Tulare County on suspects wanted in connection with domestic violence offenses, as part of the 20th Annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail. This annual detail takes place every October in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 17 Domestic Violence suspects were taken into custody without incident. During the month of October, a total of 42 suspects have been arrested and booked for offenses related to domestic violence. Due to the nature of the arrest warrants, the names of those arrested will not be released to protect the identity of the victims.
This is a multi-agency event and more arrest warrants will be served by local law enforcement agencies as part of the ongoing effort to find and arrest domestic violence offenders. 12 local law enforcement agencies participated in the operation, including the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the Visalia Police Department, the Dinuba Police Department, the Tulare Police Department, the Porterville Police Department, the Farmersville Police Department, the Woodlake Police Department, the Lindsay Police Department, the Exeter Police Department, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Tulare County Probation and the California Department of Justice.
