Red Barn Shell Station – 19500 block of Ave. 296, Exeter – 459 P.C.

Suhovy’s Market – 19500 block Ave. 192, Porterville

 

Suspect:

Brar, Gurpreet Singh 25 years, Visalia

 

TCSO Charges:

1 count 211 P.C., 7 counts 459 P.C.,  496 P.C.

 

During the past 5 days the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department began investigating the theft of California State lottery tickets from various locations throughout Tulare County. During the investigation Sheriff’s Detectives Began working with the Visalia Police Department and the Tulare Police Department regarding similar thefts within their cities involving the same suspect as well as the California Highway Patrol’s TTRAT Unit who was investigating the suspect for a stolen vehicle.

During the investigation California State Lottery Officials assisted in the investigation by tracking the stolen tickets which led the location and apprehension of the suspect within the Visalia City Limits on  9-14-14 at approx. 2100 hrs.

The suspect was ultimately booked at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Adult Pre-Trial Facility on numerous felony charges that include 211 P.C./459 P.C./496 P.C.
