On 08/04/2017, Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17400 block of Avenue 184, in Strathmore, regarding a report of a stolen log splitter. 

The reporting party advised that between 1200 hours on 07/31/2017 and 1000 hours on 08/04/2017, his red Troy-Bilt log splitter had been stolen.  The log splitter is mounted on a trailer and has a Honda motor attached. 

The reporting party stated that the log splitter had been secured to a semi-trailer by use of a locked steel cable.  Nothing else was reported stolen. 

The reporting party estimated the loss at $1,800.  The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
