On the above date and Deputies responded to the above location regarding an assault. Upon arrival Deputies contacted the victim, who advised she had been assaulted with an edged weapon by a known suspect who had fled the area prior to Deputies arriving at the scene . The victim sustained severe injuries to her person and was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.  The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit.
