On May 25, 2017, Tulare County Sheriff’s Detectives were contacted by Tulare County Fire Prevention Investigators in regards to a suspicious fire involving a stack of grape stakes approximately 300-feet long and 12-feet wide that had been staged for future harvesting on Road 208, north of Avenue 56.

In partnership, Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrived on scene and assisted TC Fire Investigators in processing the scene for evidence.  The estimated value of the loss was undetermined at that time.  This case is still under investigation.
