Deputies responded to a rooster fight in the area of Rd 192 and Ave 56. A white van came out of an orchard recklessly onto Rd 192. A traffic stop was conducted. Upon contact with the occupants it was determined they were involved in the rooster fight as they had 6 roosters, cages, and paraphernalia inside the vehicle. After further investigation the three suspects were arrested for animal cruelty. They were transported and booked at the Porterville Substation.
