On 02-28-2017 at 2126 hours, Deputies responded to the 600 block of South Lane Street, Earlimart, in regards to an armed robbery involving a shotgun. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the victim who reported two suspects stole his phone and brandished a shotgun.

Shortly afterward, Deputies located the suspect vehicle in Earlimart and attempted to make a traffic enforcement stop. The suspect vehicle recklessly evaded Deputies and failed to yield, travelling at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle was subsequently stopped due to vehicle damage in the City of Delano by Delano Police Department. Both suspects were apprehended.

Upon further investigation, stolen property and the shotgun were located with the suspects. Both suspects were subsequently arrested for various charges and booked by Delano Police Department for various crimes which occurred in their city.
