On 11-22-2016 at approximately 0027hrs. Tulare County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the Best Truck Stop in Pixley, Ca. regarding an armed robbery investigation. Upon arrival the victim, a male adult store clerk reported that an unknown male adult wearing dark clothing entered the store and demanded cash from the cash register.  The suspect simulated he was pointing a firearm at the victim. The suspect took the money and fled the store in an unknown direction.

On 11-23-16, the suspect was taken into custody with the cooperation between Tulare County Sheriff and Bakersfield Police departments. The suspect sustained non-life threatening injuries when he fled from Law Enforcement agencies in a vehicle which ended in a single vehicle traffic collision. There were no injuries to officers and bystanders.

The suspect was subsequently transported back to Tulare County where he was booked for robbery. Local charges will be filed against the suspect in Kern County for crimes committed in that county. 

Suspect: Law, Steven 44 years of age, out of the Bakersfield area.
