On 12/7/2016 at approximately 1923 hours, Deputies responded to the Ducor Handy Mart in regards to an armed robbery. Deputies learned that a Hispanic male adult entered the store armed with a shotgun and demanded money from the cash registers. 

The clerk emptied the registers into a plastic bag and the suspect fled the store, running east on Avenue 56.  The suspect was able to leave with an undisclosed amount of money. 

Leads are apparent and the investigation is ongoing.
