Detectives and Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Avenue 138 and Road 284, in Porterville, regarding an Armed Robbery.

Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Victim and were informed that on 4/11/17, at approximately 1700 hours, while driving westbound on Avenue 138, he observed a white Ford F150 with flashing blue and red emergency lights behind him. The victim pulled over to the side of the roadway and was contacted by an unknown Hispanic male wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans holding a black handgun. The unknown suspect ordered the victim out of the vehicle and told him to lay down on the ground. The victim was held at gun point while a second unknown suspect gathered items out of the victim’s vehicle. Both suspects left the area.

The suspects were described as Hispanic male adults with beards. The vehicle was described as a 2010 white Ford F150 with red and blue emergency lights going across the full length of the windshield and grill.
