On 09-09-17 at approximately 0540 hours, Deputies responded to the area of Avenue 320 and Road 80 in regards to a robbery.  Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the victim who stated he stopped to assist what he believed to be a stranded motorist on Avenue 320 west of Road 80.

The victim stated the suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded he give him his wallet and cell phone. The victim handed over his wallet and cell phone. Prior to the suspect leaving, he struck victim in the face with the handgun.  

The suspect then drove off in a black Cadillac.  The victim returned to Goshen where he contacted the Sheriff's Office.

This case is under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
