Suspect: Male juvenile, 15 years old

On 5/31/18 at 1200 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 40300 block of George Drive, in Cutler, regarding an Armed Robbery.

 

Upon arrival, Deputies were informed that a suspect entered the business wearing a black hat, black shirt, black shorts, and white shoes, carrying a silver and black handgun and pointed it at the store clerk. The suspect demanded the clerk to turn over all the money in the register. The clerk, in fear, complied with the suspect's demands.

The suspect ran from the business with approximately $500.

 

The suspect was later detained and positively identified as the suspect, even though the suspect was able to alter his clothing. The suspect was later transported to the Orosi Substation. The Sheriff's CFIU responded to the business, processed the scene, and collected evidence.

 

Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the business and took over the investigation.

Approximately $200.00 in various US Currency was located on the suspect as well as the clothing he was previously wearing. The suspect provided false information about his date of birth and age. The identity of the juvenile was later learned and he was later transported to the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility and booked for PC 211 (Armed Robbery).
