On 6/28/2018, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Porterville Substation responded to the Strathmore Handy Market for a report of an armed robbery.  Upon arrival, Deputies discovered that two suspects who were armed with weapons entered the store and confronted the clerk.  The suspects demanded US Currency, which they took. 

The total amount of money that was stolen remains undetermined at this time. The suspects fled the location in a white vehicle.   Detectives from the Property Crimes Unit have responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
