On 01-31-16 at approximately 1905 hours, Deputies responded to a residence located in the 30900 block of Commercial Road regarding an armed robbery that just occurred.

The victim informed Deputies that the suspect approached his bedroom window and asked for money. When the victim pulled out cash, the suspect pulled a handgun out from his waistband, grabbed the money from the victim’s hands and fled the scene in a white vehicle. The victim advised he knew the suspect and that the suspect’s grandmother lived down the street. 

Deputies went to the suspect’s grandmother’s residence in an attempt to make contact. The suspect was located in the back yard of the residence. The suspect was detained and arrested without incident. 

The juvenile suspect was booked for Penal Code 211 (Armed Robbery)
