On 05-10-17 at 1800 hours, Deputies were attempting to contact a subject with a felony warrant in the area of Armstrong Avenue and State Street in Earlimart. The subject ran from Deputies and a foot pursuit ensued ending in the 900 block of Elm street.

The subject entered an occupied residence and attempted to flee from Deputies, endangering several small children and elderly adults. Deputies contacted the subject at the front yard of the residence and a physical altercation ensued, ultimately leading to the arrest of the subject identified as Jose Luis Velasco.
