On 01-09-18, at approximately 2158 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Bent Ranch Avenue. Deputies contacted the driver who immediately exited his vehicle after stopping.

The driver refused to comply with the Deputies commands and became combative. He attempted to grab a Deputy's firearm and then fled on foot from the deputies.  

The Deputies pursued and the subject became combative assaulting Deputies as he was being taken into custody.

Three deputies sustained injuries during this altercation. The suspect was subsequently arrested for Assault on a Peace Officer (PC 69).
