Dorado, Frank. Adult from Visalia. Arrested and book at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility for the charges of Assault with a deadly weapon, Burglary, Possession of a dagger, Brandishing a weapon, and Resisting Arrest.

On 5-6-17 at approximately 1349 hours deputies from the Visalia Headquarters Division, were dispatched to a subject armed with a knife in the 32000 block of Lincoln in unincorporated area of Visalia. On arrival, deputies learned the suspect had been threatening and chasing passing motorist with a large knife.  Deputies located the suspect who fled into a residence. Everyone inside the residence was safely evacuated, while Deputies searched for the suspect.

The suspect was located within the residence and taken into custody with the assistance of a K-9. With the assistance from the California Highway Patrol Air Division, Farmersville K-9 unit, and Tulare County TAGNET team, the suspect was located and apprehended without further incident. Suspect Dorado was transported to the Kaweah Delta Medical Center where he was cleared and ultimately booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility on numerous felony charges.
