Between 10/13/17 and 10/20/17, Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies have responded to the 2700 block of South Burke Road, in Visalia, regarding multiple burglaries with significant property loss. 

On 10/21/17 at 0710 hours, Sheriff's Deputies again responded to the address regarding a burglary in progress with the victim being struck by the suspect vehicle as it fled the scene.  Upon arrival, Deputies located the victim and found her to be uninjured.  Assisting Deputies searched the area for the suspect vehicle and located it minutes later at the 1100 block of South ‘K’ Road, Visalia. 

 

The suspected vehicle was positively identified by the victim as the vehicle that struck her and fled the scene of the burglary and assault.  This led to the arrest of three male adults and the recovery of $3,000 worth of stolen property all belonging to the victim of this case.  Suspects were transported and booked at the Sheriff’s Adult Pre-Trial Facility.

 

Suspect 1: Matthew Esparza 30 yoa; charged with PC245, 459, 496; Bail $500,000

Suspect 2: Julian Gonzalez   41 yoa; charged with PC496;                 Bail $20,000

Suspect 3: Erick Moreno      40 yoa; charged with PC459, 496;          Bail $60,000

 

This case is still being investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
