Narrative:

On 05/07/2016 at approximately 2136 hours, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Pixley Substation responded to the 3300 block of Road 84 in Allensworth regarding an assault in progress. 

Upon arrival, Deputies located and arrested the suspect, Salvador Alonzo, for two, outstanding arrest warrants and located a fixed blade knife concealed in his pocket.  During the subsequent investigation, Deputies learned that Salvador Alonzo had attacked and struck his elderly father several times with a 40-inch metal dust pan handle causing visible injury. 

Salvador Alonzo was transported and booked into custody at the Porterville Sheriff’s substation.
