Narrative: On 3-11-15 at 2330 hours Deputies were dispatched to the 900 Block of E. Bent Ranch Street, Earlimart in regard to a shooting.  Upon arrival Deputies were informed that V1 arrived at the residence in a vehicle and told family members he had been shot near a local gas station in town. Family members quickly transported V1 to Delano Hospital for treatment. V1 sustained several injuries related to gunshot wounds, and was subsequently transported by ambulance to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield where he remains in stable condition.    

During the investigation, Deputies discovered the shooting occurred in the 900 block of South State Road in Earlimart where shell casings were located.  A motive for the attack remains unknown and no suspects have been identified.
