Narrative:

On 3-24-17 at approximately 1500 hours, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an address located in the 41700 block of Ione Road in East Orosi, regarding an assault with a firearm.

Upon arrival, the victims reported a known suspect along with three other unknown suspects drove by the victim’s residence and began to yell gang-related slurs and show hand gang signs. The suspects returned a short time later and stopped the vehicle in the middle of the roadway in front of the victim’s residence. A known suspect then began to shoot at the victims. None of the victims were hit by the gunfire.

This case was investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff Office T.A.G.N.E.T. Unit which stands for Tulare Area Gang & Narcotics Enforcement Team. Information provided by the victims helped to identify suspect as Jesus Villagomez.  

On 3-25-17 at approximately 1500 hours, T.A.G.N.E.T. Detectives located the suspect vehicle along with all four suspects. During the investigation, all four suspects were positively identified by the victims as the suspects who shot at them the day prior. During the investigation, Detectives recovered a handgun believed to be used in the crime. Detectives also located and seized a sawed-off shotgun, a small amount of cocaine, and ammunition. All four suspects were taken into custody on the below listed charges and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.

Suspect #4: Emilio Isazaga,  18 years old from Orosi,

Charges: 245pc Assault w/ deadly weapon, 186.22pc participating in street gang activity, 166(a)(9)pc: Violation of Court order gang Injunction.

The case is still under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Depaartment.
