On 11-1-2018 at approximately 1800hrs. (6:00 pm) Tulare County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 32800 block of Lincoln Rd. outside the city limits of Visalia, Tulare County jurisdiction regarding an assault investigation. Upon arrival Deputies located a 23year old Hispanic male adult suffering from a head wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical where he was treated for his injury. 

The suspect is known to the victim. On 11-2-2018 investigation lead Tulare County Sheriff Gang Detectives to the 200 block of South Orange in the City of Exeter. There Detectives arrested Michael Orta 20 year old from Exeter. He was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pretial Facility on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. The assault is believed to be gang motivated.
