On 06-27-17 at 2118 hours, Deputies responded to the 900 block of South State Street regarding a subject claiming to be a victim of an assault. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the victim who advised he had been assaulted by a known subject. The victim reported that the subject attempted to stab him with an unknown type of knife, but missed and struck his backpack. After further investigation, Deputies were able to identify a possible suspect which will remain confidential due to the ongoing investigation.
