On 12/08/2017, Deputies from the Sheriff's Porterville Substation responded to area of Avenue 88 and Road 208 for the report of a gunshot wound victim.  It was learned a vehicle was seen on the property and a theft had occurred. 

Employees followed the vehicle.  After following the vehicle, the suspect vehicle stopped and a suspect shot one time at the victim.  The victim had minor injuries and responded to a local hospital to be treated.  Detectives responded and assumed the ongoing investigation.
