On 7-22-19 at 1600 hours Detectives from the Sheriff’s General Investigations Unit responded to the Bob Wiley Detention Facility in regard to an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival Detectives were told the victim, a 25 year old adult male was attacked by three other inmates.  The victim had sustained several stab wounds to his back during the attack.  He was transported to a local area hospital where he was treatment and released for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects remain in custody on other unrelated charges.  At this point the case is still under investigation.
