On Friday 6-3-2016 at approximately 1750 hours. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the London Market located in the 37800 block of Kate Road in New London regarding a male subject carrying a rifle and machete.

Upon arrival and after investigation, Deputies discovered 2 male adult victims who reported the suspect threatened them with a machete and fired a high-powered pellet gun at them. The victims were not hit by the gun fire.

Deputies located and arrested: Angel Dejesus Castro, 29, from New London. He was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on the charges of assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon. The case remains under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
