On 07/09/2016 at approximately 6:53 p.m., Deputies from the Sheriff's Porterville Substation responded to a possible attempt suicided and attempted assault with a deadly weapon.  During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect had attempted to commit suicide with a razor blade.

As the victim tried to remove the blade from the suspect, the suspect threatened to hurt the victim with the razor blade. The victim obtained a cut as she was trying to remove the blade from the suspect. Suspect was contacted and taken into custody and transported to the Tulare County Juvenile Facility System.
