On April 9, 2017, Deputies responded to an apartment complex located within the 1000 block of Washington Avenue in Earlimart in regards to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon their arrival, Deputies contacted a 16-year-old victim who had a minor leg wound. 

The victim was very uncooperative with the investigation. The victim was transported to Delano Regional Medical Center and subsequently released.
