Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives were called to the Earlimart area to investigate a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.  Upon arrival, Deputies and Detectives contacted the victim. The victim advised he was walking in the 100 block of North Front Street when he heard a gunshot and received an injury to his leg. The victim was transported to Tulare Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injury which was determined to be non-life threatening. He was later released.
