On 4/13/15 at approximately 2156 hrs, deputies were dispatched to the 33700 block of Rd. 124 in Visalia, regarding a report of a family disturbance. The caller was a family member who believed the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was reportedly acting bizarrely and throwing sand bags into the roadway at night, causing a potential accident hazard.

Upon arrival two deputies contacted a male subject identified as William Jimenez 18 years of age. Jimenez was asked to cooperate with the investigation, but instead he fought with deputies at the scene. During the struggle deputies used a Taser several times, but it was ineffective, and Jimenez at one point had hold of the Taser. During the struggle, deputies also used a baton on the suspect, and he continued to struggle until more deputies arrived, at which point they were able to take Jimenez into custody. Jimenez sustained several cuts and contusions during the incident. He was taken to Kaweah Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries before being booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility. One of the deputies received a contusion on the head where he had been struck several times by the suspect. He was treated and released from Kaweah Medical Center.

Upon arrival Deputies contacted a male subject identified as William Jimenez 18 years of age. Jimenez displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a stimulant. Jimenez was asked to cooperate with the investigation. He attempted to fight with Deputies at the scene. He was taken into custody. Jimenez sustained minor injuries, during the incident. He was taken to Kaweah Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries before being booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
