On Tuesday, 01/12/16 at 1200 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 7100 block of Woodbine Avenue in Goshen regarding an attempted residential burglary.  On arrival, the victim reported hearing a knock at the door and then seeing his front door forced open.  Upon yelling at the intruders, they ran from the property. The victim was able to see two young males flee from his front door.

The Sheriff’s Department is encouraging everyone to be vigilant of suspicious persons walking mid-day and knocking on doors without legitimate business. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the Sheriff’s Department and/or shared with your neighbors.
